Twisted Dune is like no other golf course in
southern New Jersey. True to its name, Twisted Dune
is a links-style course of twisting landscapes,
dramatic elevations and rolling fairways that offer
a challenging yet supremely playable 18 holes carved
on 200 acres
in Egg Harbor Township.
Designer Archie Struthers moved 2 million cubic
yards of earth to bring his remarkable design to
fruition, creating a true taste of the Scottish
Coast at the Jersey Shore. Deep ravines, towering
grass-covered sand hills and well over 100 bunkers
make Twisted Dune’s 7,200 yards among the most
memorable in the region. In 2002, Golfweek named
Twisted Dune "3rd Best Daily Fee Golf Course in New
Jersey." And in 2003, The New Jersey Golf Course
Owners Association honored Twisted Dune with the
"Best New Public Golf Course" award.
The design features four par 5’s over 500 yards, 10
par 4’s and four par 3’s, including the remarkable
16th, which made the Courier Post’s "Dream 18" in
2002. Though fescue and sand are generous, so are
the wide fairways, bentgrass landing areas and large
greens. Twisted Dune offers a visually stunning golf
experience that rewards accuracy and course
management – making it enjoyable for golfers of
every level.
