Heron Pines Golf Club
4 Stars, East & West Course:
Golf Digest’s "Places to Play"
"Top 100," "4 Stars," "Top Courses in the State,"
home of the 78th U.S. Amateur Public Links
Championship … All reasons why Blue Heron Pines’ 36
holes of championship golf are a must-play.
A trend-setting golf club since opening in 1993, the
original West Course established and maintains the
tone for upscale daily-fee golf at the Jersey Shore.
The Stephen Kay design features over 6,800 yards of
exquisite fairways, manicured greens, blue water and
strategically placed bunkers.
The East Course, which opened in the Spring of 2000,
has earned
a reputation as "the course to play" and was ranked
in the "Top 100 You Can Play" by Golf Magazine and
earned "4 Stars" in Golf Digest’s "Places to Play."
Designed by Steve Smyers, the East Course, measuring
7,221 yards from the back tees, features a
links-style design with wide fairways, challenging
bunkers and generous tees and greens. Worthy of the
highest standards of the USGA, the East Course
hosted the 2003 U.S. Amateur Public Links
Championship. Both East and West Courses have their
own clubhouses for breakfast, lunch & dinner and are
ideally suited for special functions.
Golf instruction for individuals and any size group
of any skill level may be arranged through the Blue
Heron Pines Golf Learning Center.
